Returns

Comfort and ease are core to our mission at Common Tiger. If something isn’t quite right, you can return unused items within 30 days of purchase. We provide a pre-paid return label. To maintain our premium quality standards, a 15% restocking fee applies to standard returns (see “Damaged or Defective on Arrival” for fee waivers).


Try Indoors First

We can only accept returns on unused items, so please get familiar with your seat at home before taking it outdoors:

  • Settle in indoors to experience the natural sitting position and sculptural support.
  • Test the intuitive fold/unfold, easy recline, and carry features (as shown on your tag).
  • Attach and try your included Drink Holder and Phone Rest to explore the full setup.
  • Keep all original packaging and every included component (protective sleeves/inserts, tags, accessories, etc.). You’ll need everything if you decide to return.

If everything feels just right—you’re bound for blue skies.


How to Start a Return

  1. Contact our Customer Care team via the contact form or email support@commontiger.com.
  2. We’ll email you a pre-paid return label and simple packing instructions.
  3. Pack the item securely in all original packaging, including every component and accessory.
  4. Drop the package with the carrier shown on your label.

What Qualifies

  • Return window: Request your return within 30 days of purchase.
  • Condition: Items must be new, unused, and resellable with all original packaging intact and all included accessories/components returned (such as the Drink Holder and Phone Rest).
  • Non-returnable: Personalized items and anything marked final sale.
  • Proof of purchase: Please have your order number or receipt.
  • Eligible locations: This policy applies to orders within the contiguous United States.

Processing & Refunds

  • Transit to us: Allow up to 5 business days after drop-off for your return to arrive.
  • Inspection: Refunds are typically issued within 5 business days of receipt.
  • Posting: Your bank/card provider may take up to 7 additional days to post the credit.
  • Refund amount: We refund the product price and applicable sales tax, less a 15% restocking fee for standard returns. (We cover the cost of the pre-paid return label.)
  • Shipping fees: Any expedited shipping fees chosen at checkout are not refundable.

Important: Items returned used, incomplete, or damaged due to improper packing may be ineligible for refund or may incur additional deductions to restore resellable condition.


Damaged or Defective on Arrival

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 2 days of delivery with your order number and photos. Once confirmed, we’ll arrange a replacement or full refund and cover all return shipping. The 15% restocking fee does not apply to confirmed damaged/defective returns.


Exchanges

We don’t offer direct exchanges. For a different color or item, please place a new order and return the original for a refund (per the terms above).


Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect once posted here.
